Creative Writing and History graduate from the University of Queensland.

April has set down her roots in publishing as a content editor and publisher. She has six years editing experience, four of which were within the book publishing industry.

Her writing has been featured locally, in Australia, and internationally.

Additionally, April has previously been awarded an arts grant and is a regular advanced reviewer of Australian novels.

As a queer woman, she has a special interest in work from LGBTQI+ artists and writers.
